IPAMA unfolds roadmap of PRINTPACK INDIA 2017

Indian Printing, Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA) announced the 13th edition of PRINTPACK INDIA, scheduled to be held from February 10- 15, 2017 at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR. Speaking at a get-together in Amritsar, KS Khurana, president, IPAMA stated that with a confirmed business of more than US$ 290 million and trade enquiries exceeding US$ 510 million generated during the PRINTPACK INDIA 2015, the entire industry seemed to be in acceleration mode and ready to compete with big expos like drupa. This get-together saw a lot of manufacturers from Amritsar, Delhi, Jaipur, Faridabad and Ahmedabad, apart from printers associations’ office bearers from New Delhi, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Jammu, Baddi, Karnal, etc. Vijay Kumar Chopra, CMD and editor-in-chief, Punjab Kesari Group was chief guest at the occasion.

PRINTPACK INDIA 2015 turned out to be a mini world show on the graphic art industry with impressive footfall of more than 85,000 visitors from far and near corners of the country as well as overseas countries, such as Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Canada, Denmark, Dubai, Ethiopia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Korea, Lithuania, Malaysia, Nepal, among others. CP Paul, general secretary, IPAMA dedicated the grand success of the 12th edition of the PRINTPACK INDIA to the printing fraternity from pan-India level who visited the expo and exhibiting companies.

Sharing another landmark achievement of IPAMA, KS Khurana told that besides domestic market, IPAMA has spread its wings to overseas markets and the partnership of association with Expo Centre Sharjah to co-organise Print Pack Arabia will present another opportunity for Indian manufacturers, dealers and buyers to go global. “We are delighted to continue our association with Expo Centre Sharjah. The inaugural show received tremendous response from the regional industry. We could facilitate the participation of a large contingent of exhibitors for the launch edition and we are happy to note that the interest shown by Indian manufacturers and suppliers is way above our expectations for Print Pack Arabia 2016,” he added.

Also present on this occasion Naveen Fernandes, group exhibition manager B2B, ECS said, “I am extremely happy to continue our partnership with IPAMA. We drew a lot of success from IPAMA in successfully launching Print Pack Arabia in 2014. I am sure together we can present a bigger event for the regional printing and packaging industry.” They expect to have 80+ exhibitors from India for their 2016 event scheduled to be held from February 22-25, 2016 as against 29 in the year 2014.
