A marvel being excelled as Pressline India Private Limited has celebrated its 25 years of successful manufacturing of web offset presses. The company’s versatile presses are indigenously engineered to meet broader market requirements now surging at both domestic and international levels, extensively covering the newspaper as well as the book printing segments.

Glory was the day and attendance impressive at the 25th Year Anniversary celebrations of Pressline India organised recently at Hotel Atrium in Faridabad. Presence of a host of prominent industry personalities made the celebration joyous and memorable. Addressing the gathering at the landmark occasion, Satish Bajwa, chairman and MD, Pressline India Private Ltd, wistfully recollected the company’s vigorous 25 successful years in manufacturing some of the finest range of web offset presses.

“The passion to create a niche position in the world of printing has been the guiding chronicle of Pressline India,” said Satish, adding that the then parameters of printed newspapers in the mid-1980s in India were fast changing, picking up the trend of high-quality offset prints in terms of graphics and colours. The trend of high print quality was coupled with gradual boost to the country’s literacy rate, which eventually resulted in the popping up of multiple editions of newspapers, increase in circulations; and of course, as a result of all these, newspaper production houses keep demanding for higher-speed printing presses.

Pressline India boasts of producing a portfolio of highly versatile presses, which are manufactured by a highly qualified and motivated team of engineers/technicians. The company has been supplying presses to some of the leading regional newspapers based in different parts of the country, such as Amar Ujala, The Pioneer, Dainik Bhaskar, The New Indian Express, Samayukta Karnataka, among others. “All these newspapers we have been serving so far are not just clients but our guiding spirits or mentors who teach us what to take up next for innovations; we keep learning from them,” mentioned Satish. Recalling the early days of Pressline India, Satish gleefully remarked, “I’m so proud today of the way we have come across these 25 years of our journey into the printing world.” Though they feel they could have done much more and much better, according to him, Pressline India has a long way ahead with several updates and improvements to be accomplished. Showing gratitude to the printing fraternity gathered at the auspicious occasion, Satish appreciated the support and association they have received from the industry fellows without which Pressline India might miss to see the colourful VIBGYOR at the end of rainbow.
