Mondi takes grease resistance of paper to the next level

With a new paper grade: Advantage MG White Cote GR, Mondi Kraft Paper has extended its grease resistance portfolio. “After intensive research and development, we could achieve the challenging combination of good printability and high grease resistance level in one paper grade,” conveyed Christian Skilich, CEO Mondi Kraft Paper.

The clay coated surface of the paper ensures excellent printability on flexo printers and thus enables the customer to bring the brand message as well as detailed product descriptions across. A special functional chemical treatment of the fibres enables the high grease resistance level which is requested by demanding applications such as in the pet food and confectionery industry. As sustainability is one of Mondi’s key values only bleached virgin kraft paper from PEFC certified suppliers is used for the production.
