IMPRINT ‘12: a tachnical symposium

A two-day national level technical symposium was held on March 02-03, 2012 at Anna University Department of Printing Technology, Chennai. Students from across the country, including, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hissar and Pune participated. Speaking as the chief guest in the inaugural session, Narendra Paruchuri, CEO, Pragati Offset Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad shared his experience as to how his company grew step by step from small letterpress unit to the world class offset printers of today. Presiding over the function, professor P Manohar Jawahar, vice chancellor, Anna University, praised the printing students for their innovative ideas. Chief guest for valedictory programme, K Selvakumar, director, Lovely Offset Printers Pvt Ltd, Sivakasi, advised the students to keep themselves abreast with technology. Dr M Sekar, dean, College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai was much in appreciation of the printing students touching on innovation.
