SN Press installs Konica Minolta Accurio Press 6120

Aluva, Ernakulam based SN Press has recently installed Konica Minolta Accurio Press 6120. Here, Sanjeev, Owner, SN Press, shares more about this installation. Excerpts.

P&P: What were the main reasons for opting for this press?

Sanjeev: Accelerating offset transfer, pursuing work efficiency, with the highest-class productivity/reliability/labour saving and after sales support are key decision-making points for opting Konica Minolta Accurio Press 6120.

P&P: What kind of customers and applications are you targeting with this installation?

Sanjeev: We opted Konica Minolta AP 6120 engine added paper feeder, relay unit and a finisher which offers great efficiency. We will be focusing on book printing, VDP, bill books, POD with this machine which requires minimum supervision. We are excited to install versatile monochrome printing solution in our unit to complete print jobs in a shorter time to meet deadline.

P&P: How do you plan to achieve an early ROI on this press?

Sanjeev: Being in offset industry for 38 years, we are expecting fast ROI as we are offering POD services and expand our business & print volumes through POD jobs.

P&P: How was your experience with Konica Minolta?

Sanjeev: We purchased our first Konica Minolta C1060 in 2014 followed by AP 6120 in 2022. During this tenure, reliability, robustness, colour consistency and after sales support are key decision-making points for opting Konica Minolta.

P&P: How has the pandemic affected the printing industry and how has SN Print tackled it?

Sanjeev: The pandemic-induced lockdown reduced the orders, which in turn impacted sales turnover and industry has been impacted by raw material price hike. We have been able to cater to the small commercial & packaging orders as well through digital printing POD which helps in increasing revenues and helps us to tackle pandemic situation.
