Digital Print Asia 2025 marks a bright beginning attuned to new digital evolution

Bringing digital printing machines, technologies, manufacturers, experts and solutions together to INNOVATE, NETWORK and LEAD, ReEnvision Events Private Limited has successfully launched Digital Print Asia 2025 (dpa). The maiden edition of the two-day digital printing summit was held on August 21 & 22, 2025 at Novotel- Jaipur, Rajasthan, under the agenda of one Common Session on Day-1 and three powerful Breakout Sessions on Day-2, each designed to spark fresh ideas, uncover latest trends, and fuel the future of digital printing.

Dawning of the Day-1 of Digital Print Asia 2025 (dpa 2025) was marked with an auspicious inaugural session attended by a host of dignitaries comprising Nihar Kothari, Executive Editor & Director, The Patrika Group; Seiji Nakashima, Corporate Vice President, Division, President of Professional Print Business, Headquarters, Konica Minolta Incorporation; Anil Arora, Director, ReEnvision Events Private Limited; Tushar Dhote, Co-Chairman, PAMEX, Curator of Digital Print Asia (dpa); Janaka Rathnakumara, Chief Operating Officer, Wijeya Newspapers Limited; Satish Malhotra, President, All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP); and Vinod Kumar Sharma, President, Rajasthan Offset Printers Association (ROPA).

In his keynote speech at the onset of the two-day conference, Nihar Kothari, Executive Editor & Director, The Patrika Group, articulated that digital printing is setting a new panorama alongside the beauty of traditional printing. Pranav Parikh, Chairman, TechNova Imaging Systems, who was not able to present in-person, conveyed his message on the stage through Deepak Chawala, Sr GM, Marketing & Corporate Communication, TechNova Imaging Systems, appreciating the launch of such a timely and visionary summit on digital printing.

Shedding light on long journey and business milestones of Konica Minolta, Seiji Nakashima, Corporate Vice President, Division, President of Professional Print Business, Headquarters, Konica Minolta Incorporation, talked about ‘Future Trends in Digital Printing Industry’, signifying the relevance of KM machines and India prints on KM machines. In the follow-up session titled ‘Print Economics: Business Transformation Through Digital Printing, Rishab Kohli, Managing Director, TPH Orient Group of Companies Pvt Ltd, presented different models of financial return on investments in digital printing, showing the rising prospects in the sector.

After a brief networking tea, in the subsequent session titled ‘Printing Industry: Global & South East Asia Perspective’, Amit Khurana, CEO of TechNova Imaging Systems, said the digital disruption is a visible phenomena in the printing industry.

DAY 2 of Digital Print Asia proceeded in the three Breakout Sessions in different auditoriums. Moderated by Deepak Chawala, Sr GM, Marketing & Corporate Communication, among the series of sessions in Breakout Session-1 with title ‘Innovation in Flexible Packaging & Label Printing’ was an educational and influencing talk on characterisation and fine-tuning in inkjet printing by Dr Tri Taludhar, Director, TriJet Limited.

Breakout Session-2 with title ‘Exploring Innovations in Book Printing’ was moderated by Ajay Agrawal, CEO & MD, Insight Communications Pvt Ltd, a handful of expedient sessions on book printing, publishing and post-press processing made the day’s event complete. Ajay Kumar Joshi, Group Vice President, Supply Chain, Penguin Random House India, narrated the significance of digital printing in today’s era of short-run book production such as 500 copies. In one of the subsequent sessions, Edward Liop, Specialist in Inkjet Technologies, People & Technology, Spain, importantly highlighted the importance of printhead cleaning.

Among the prolific presenters in Breakout Session-3, which was moderated by Mehul in mind-blowing manner, was Manish Gupta, Head of Marketing – Production & Industrial · Experience, Konica Minolta India, whose presentation of prowess of digital embellishments with JetVarnish and MGI for a new paradigm in businesses of all verticals.

Every Breakout Session had concluding Panel Discussions which deeply focused on key discussions & discourses of new developments in every aspect across the digital printing landscape. Every session at the summit with print stalwarts and industry leaders as speakers, presenters, and narrators at dpa 2025 set the future of digital printing with innovative solutions and new trends revolving around choosing the right machines, innovations in flexible printing, packaging, labels, and associated applications.

Set on the sidelines of Digital Print Asia 2025 was a string of expo booths showing the latest digital printing machines, materials, and technologies with partners comprising Canon India, Konica Minolta, Shreeji Corporation, Insight, Nippon Color, Print & Publication, Sumi Publications, Ronald, Domino, The Printers House (tph), Monotech Systems, Global Print Konnect, Sona Signature Papers, Narshingh Dass Group, Technova, Bindwel, and Flexo Summit Asia.

More than just learning, Digital Media Asia 2025 forged valuable connections and delegates got the chance to gain firsthand insights from the industry experts, explore the real-world of successful case studies and emerge from the latest advancements. It instilled everyone to leave with actionable insights to drive business sustainability, innovation, and growth.
