Print Expo 2025 Chennai unleashes trending printing & packaging solutions
Co-located with debut edition of Media Expo in Chennai
Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India and Showcase Trade Fairs and Business Media, organisers of Print Expo and Media Expo, have brought both the events to a common venue this year, unleashing a new synergy of combining the industry’s leading trade expos. Pulling crowds on all three days, both the expos were held from July 10–12, 2025 at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, exhibiting the latest machines, materials, technologies, and trends revolving around print & packaging, array of signage printers, technologies, materials, and solutions.
The three days of the expo determined the ever growing printing industry’s continuous evolvement with unprecedented growth opportunities as latest machines, technologies, and solutions keep emerging across the domains of offset and digital.
Marking its 15th edition this year, Print Expo 2025 brought together a host of exhibitors showcasing products and solutions which pulled crowds, offering them new prospects of growth and innovations from 185 exhibitors. The three days of the expo determined the ever growing printing industry’s continuous evolvement with unprecedented growth opportunities as latest machines, technologies, and solutions keep emerging across the domains of offset and digital.
With a common inaugural session, Print Expo 2025 and Media Expo 2025 was inaugurated by the dignitaries which consisted of D Kumaravel, President, Coimbatore Master Printers Association and former General Secretary of AIFMP (All India Federation of Master Printers); Jun Sudo, President, Komori India; Manish Gupta, Head of Product Planning and Mmanagement, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India; T P Jain, Managing Director, Monotech Systems Limited; Kensuke Okumura, Senior Manager, Device Technology Division, Fujifilm India; Ram Prasad, Director, Sales and Marketing, Epson India; C Sukumaran, Senior Director, Product Communication Centre, Canon India; Arjun Khosla, Associate Director, Head, Production System Group, Xerox India; Kulakkada Pradeep, Founder & CEO, Future Schoolz; Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings; Ashok Neelkant, Managing Director of Showcase Trade Fairs and Business Media Private; and Winston Pereira, Executive Director, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India.

Together with the co-located Media Expo 2025, a maiden edition of the show in Chennai, it turns out to be a 360o execution,” said Raj Manek, Executive Director & Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings.
Among the exhibitors which made a big buzz was Canon India that launched an upgraded imagePRESS V1000 with all-new vacuum paper feeding deck. The new vacuum paper feeding deck in the press has three standard paper trays with 5000 sheets capacity and is designed to elevate and expand paper handling capabilities and operate efficiently without any manual intervention during the printing process. Toshiaki Nomura, President & CEO of Canon India, said innovation at Canon is always rooted in a deep understanding of their customers’ evolving needs.
Among the big launches at the expo, Konica Minolta unveiled the next-gen AccurioPress C7100 Enhanced, a flagship colour digital press for future-ready, high-speed, and sustainable production. The expo also marked the official market introduction of AccurioPress C14010S, which was launched earlier this year. Katsuhisa Asari, MD, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt Ltd, stated that the new AccurioPress C7100 Enhanced signifies more agile, sustainable, and future-ready machine. On this, Manish Gupta, Head – Product Life Cycle & Solution Consultancy Division, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India, also mentioned that the new press is a significant step forward in intelligent print automation!
Monotech Systems Limited stole the spotlight at both the expos. Key highlights at the company’s stall in Print Expo 2025 were RICOH Pro C7500, RICOH Pro 8420, PixelGlow Vertex, PixelGlow Lumina, Morgana ColoCut SC7000 T, among others. TP Jain, Managing Director, Monotech Systems Limited said, “Hosting both expos side by side has created a comprehensive platform where trade visitors from both industries can explore diverse products and solutions.”
Spotlighted at Xerox India’s stall was Iridesse Production Press, offers a six-color print engine for gold, silver, clear, white, and CMYK in one pass with ultra-high definition. Arjun Khosla, Associate Director, Head, Production System Group, Xerox India, said the Iridesse is the game changer in short-run jobs with high-quality print outputs.
On the other side, Minosha demonstrated three key machines, RICOH Pro C7500, Pro C5300 and Pro 8400. Prasanna Rajagopalan – National Business Manager–Production Printing, Minosha India Limited, stated that the trio RICOH systems define a versatile eco-system of digital colour and monochrome printing. Likewise, Fujifilm India showcased ApeosPro C650 and C810 photo printers, pulling huge crowds. Manikanandan Balasubramanian, E-Solutions & Technical Support Specialist, Photo Imaging Division, said the expo brings a host of focused and potential crowds for the products they put up on showcase.
Provin Technos was also among those who unveiled some new products, among which was a Spande flexo machine. Abhijeet Kolhatkar, General Manager – Sales, Provin Technos Pvt Ltd said the expo has always turned out to be a prolific platform for introducing new products. Komori India presented some of its flagship presses like Lithrone G40 Advance EX Edition, Lithrone G37, Lithrone G29, and well-arranged gallery of Packaging-Zone showing stunning print samples. Jitender Rohilla, General Manager–Sales, Komori India Pvt Ltd, said they have received a good number of enquiries during the show.
Line-O-Matic showcased its advanced machinery for stationery production, converting, packaging and printing. Dilip Golani, Senior Manager – Marketing (Domestic) at Line O Matic, said the exhibit revolved around the company’s existing product line among which the upgraded Compo B104 S for central sewn binding is one of the key products. Shreejee Corporation pulled crowds to its showcases of Xerox, EPSON, Finitura, and VJET. Finitura is the company’s own brand. “We are co-exhibited with our South India partner Gayathri Machinery. The show is excellent with good crowds,” stated Krunal C Jasani, Director of Shreeji Corporation.
Gathering huge crowds, Venkataramana Graphics presented some key products including the Asmky platesetters and digital presses. “We represent digital large-format printers too. However, our showcase is exclusively for commercial digital printing segment,” told BV Krishna Prasad, Managing Director of Venkataramana Graphics Pvt Ltd. Kapoor Imaging, representing Kodak, presented Q1600 platesetter, Prinergy EVO workflow software, Topaz product range, etc. K Raghu, Manager – Sales, Kapoor Imaging Pvt Ltd said the new venture has triggered to gain good business ahead.
Autoprint introduced Digimech print finishing solutions at the expo. “Our newly launched print finishing solutions are smaller, better, and faster. In fact, we redefine printing finishing with these newly launched solutions,” informed P Thomas, General Manager, Autoprint Machinery Manufacturers Pvt Ltd. Manufactured by Digital Innovation, powered by RICOH, 360DPI launched a new print enhancement machine with RICOH Gen5/Gen6L printheads. Abhishek Verma, Founder, 360DPI, said the new machine is featured with added features including customisable varnish layers.
USAM, representing HP, presented some flagship machines like DesignJet and some multi-function office printers. M Manoj, Deputy General Manager, USAM, said the mixed crowds from different market clusters make the expo perfect and productive.
Launch edition of Media Expo Chennai
With tremendous potential of India’s signage and advertising sector, debut edition of Media Expo showcased innovations and it turned out as a platform to forge connections and drive business growth across the south Indian market. Big players like Colors Digital India (CDI) at the show launched a new 10-ft all-in-one printer with RICOH Gen5 printhead—Heavy Body TM-Gen5. “It is said to be ‘all-in-one’ because of its capability to handle UV, eco-solvent, and solvent printing altogether in one system,” said Tejinder Singh, Director, Colors Digital India (CDI).
New launches poured in from other key exhibitors too, such as JX Enterprise which introduced a new Gongzheng Thunderjet UV RTR printer. Varun S, Manager, JX Enterprise, said this new system is an entry-level printer with compact body and excellent performance. “This new Thunderjet UV printer boasts an organised design and stable electric system. In addition, a lot of unconventional features like white ink recirculation, water cooling platen, and anti-collision unit make the printer stand unique among other models in its class which are readily available in the market.”
A big announcement from MIMAKI India at the expo was the company’s new model JV330-160, now available with 3M MCS Warranty. “Now, we offer our clients this warranty, a new opportunity for superiority in graphics,” stated Kenichiro (Ken) Seki, Managing Director, MIMAKI India Pvt Ltd. He added that Media Expo Chennai running parallel with Print Expo 2025 is good for pulling mixed profiles of visitors. Coresigns, a modular sign and promotional solution provider, enthralled the crowds with their innovative, user-friendly, and sustainable products. Karan Arora, Founder & CEO, Coresigns LLP stated that the expo, despite being a launch edition, is well organised and attended
Karni Alufab, a leading producer of textile and aluminium profiles for SEG displays with or without lighting, demonstrated its flagship round tube aluminium displays. “These innovative products are pretty much a part of our mission to unleash innovative solutions to help our customers stand out amid the crowds.” Taneja Digital Solutions launched a new LX Hausys Backlit Fabric, attracting all crowds around. Rohit Taneja, Founder, Taneja Digital Solutions said the new fabric is defined by unique textures and vibrancy.
As always, Sun Sign & Technologies (SST) at the expo was a crowd puller with innovative media and materials from SENFA, Starflex, etc. Deepak Gupta, Director, Sun Sign & Technologies (SST) said a range of PE Media at their stall were what it pulled crowds. Mehta Hitech Industries, formerly Mehta Can Cam Systems, showcased its line of flagship products comprising SINO 3202SK, EVA-1143, Presto, among others. Diwakar Mishra, National Sales Manager, Mehta Hitech Industries Limited, informed that the twin shows attracted crowds of heterogeneous profiles.
Among the exhibitors launching new products, EPSON India introduced a new SureColor SC-S913 eco-solvent signage printer at the expo. Gopalakrishnan J of G Pro Solutions, an authorised EPSON distributor, said the new printer is redefining a fresh standard in high-performance signage printing. Crowds that gathered at Ashwin Enterprises were serious and focused as 35 machines being booked during the show. Vinod Bhanushali, CEO, Ashwin Enterprises, said the expo is an opportunity for them in flock together with their league of channel partners in south.
Launched in a big way at the expo, Monotech Systems Limited unveiled Pixeljet Dynamo 320Pr—a Premium Series UV hybrid printer for high-speed, high-quality printing with the latest Konica Minolta 1024a (4-row) printheads, enabling seamless printing of display graphics up to 3200mm. “The debut edition of Media Expo in Chennai has been overwhelming, not only due to the new venue but also because it has attracted an entirely new audience,” said TP Jain, Managing Director, Monotech Systems Limited.
Most of the exhibitors at both Print Expo 2025 and maiden Media Expo 2025 expressed their contentment about the advantages of the two concurrent expos. Products and solutions as well as the mixed profiles of visitors at the two expos were interchangeable.
