Hyderabad-based iCardshas recently installed Canon imagePRESS V1350, to which Mani Varghese, Managing Director of iCards, says, “We have very specifcally chosen this robust and compact digital production powerhouse to meet the increasing demands of quality prints from our cleints these days. We have been running quite a number of Canon presses. However, this newly arrived iPR V1350 in our facility is ideal for high-volume production.”
Recalling the arrival of first Canon machine at iCards, Mani narrates, “In the year 2015, we installed our first Canon press – iPR C700. It was followed by an iPR C8000VP in 2018 which we did with a pride of being the first owner of the flagship Canon production digital colour press in Telangana.” He adds, “Over the last one decade, we keep upgrading our family of Canon presses with regular additions of newer and upgraded models.”
Mani continues, “Currently, we are running three key Canon digital colour production presses in our setup. First is the latest iPR V1350; secondly, an iPR C8000VP and an iPR V900. In addition, we have two units of imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 8786 presses for monochromeprint production.” Main aim of iCards for constantly investing in the best-in-class machines is to meet their clients’ increasing demands for premium prints in volume and versatility across vast applications.
“On an average, we are producing 3,00,0000 sheets every month on this highly capable Canon powerhouse,” he added. Designed with innovative technology and high levels of built-in automation, iPR V1350 is capable to operate at the speed of delivering 135 A4 pages per minute (ppm). Graphics are speedily printed in resolution of 2400×2400 dpi on this Canon digital production powerhouse.
