Two highly productive Canon digital colour production presses imagePRESS V1000 and imagePRESS V800 are successfully running at Thane (Maharashtra)-based Digi Prints, a one-stop commercial printing corner catering a range of premium finished products, viz. cards, brochures, pamphlets, fliers, catalogues, calendars, among many others. Of these, ImagePRESS V1000 has been installed recently.
According to Shakil Khan of Digi Prints, “We opted for the bigger iPR V1000 as second Canon press in our facility to boost overall production volume. As of now, we are producing 50,000 sheets a month using this new Canon press which we installed in July this year.We did it in a short span of just four months after the installation of iPR V800 to fulfil the increasing requirements of our customers. As the iPR V1000 is now in full function, both the Canon machines in our facility are flawlessly handling digital printing to the finest levelfor unconditionally producing graphic prints in unique textures and quality.”
Designed to print and produce graphics more efficiently in faster speed, iPR V1000 is capable to operate at 100 A4 pages per minute (ppm) for catering print outputs in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400×2400 dpi. It supports a broad range of media, right from the thin substrates of 52 gsm up to the thick materials of 400 gsm. “Flexible media handling capability in faster speed is the beauty of this iPR V1000 that attracted us in the first place,” tells Shakil. Choices of media compatible with the iPR V1000 includes the embossed, bond, label, pre-punched, index, envelop, synthetic, magnetic, translucent & transparent films, etc.
