Monotech orchestrates everything of printing and packaging under one roof

With the recent addition of a gluing/binding machine, Dig Bind, Monotech has expanded its printing and packaging machine portfolio to a new elevation, signifying coverage of everything under one roof. Dig Bind is designed for glued book binding and its introduction at a recent print expo in Chennai pulled big crowd. Also introduced at the expo from the company was Itotec eRC paper cutter, designed with near-future cutting scene and finishing preparation. In a brief conversation with Print & Publishing, TP Jain, MD, Monotech Systems, said they boast of five product verticals, under which everything about printing and packaging, including pre-press and post-press equipments, is covered for almost entire gamut of applications.

Under the umbrella of Monotech’s product portfolio, the pre-press division includes paper cutter, thermal, violet and flexo Ctp systems and others. In the digital domain, a line of high-speed, high- production colour and monochrome digital production systems are accumulated. Digital enhancement and finishing range in the company’s product portfolio is of digital enhancement machines for both digital and offset systems, offering unmatched, high-quality enhancement capabilities with Scodix machines. “Of course, our traditional wide-format range, Pixeljet is the brand; but we have recently added ‘textile’ systems too, with the inclusion of Mimaki printers in the portfolio,” mentions TP Jain.

3D and engineering division, the fifth vertical in the product portfolio of the company, consists of a range of 3D printing and scanning systems, appropriately engineered to tap new business opportunities in the commercial domain. 3D applications are now expanding bit by bit in the commercial domain, opening up fresh possibilities. In addition, Monotech Systems could meet every printmaker’s need of RIP software, offering a wide range of workflow systems for different print and security printing processes.
