New responsibilities for Prof Kamal Chopra

Prof Kamal Chopra, president, All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) has been nominated as a member of the 20 member council of Development Council for Pulp, Paper & Allied Industries, headed by Madhukar Mishra, MD, Star Paper Mills Ltd, New Delhi. The council also has representatives from the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, IIT Roorkee and Paper & Packaging Industries.

The Government of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industry (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion) have established a Development Council for Pulp, Paper & Allied Industries vide Gazette Notification No. S.O 1415 (E) dated 4th May 2017 for a period of two years w.e.f. 5th May 2017. The Council meets periodically to discuss issues concerning interests and development of pulp, paper & allied industries.
