Creed Engineers installs Omega Slitter Rewinder with 100 percent inspection system and core cutter at JK Labels’ facility in Mumbai

Himanshu Kapur and Surendra KapurProvider of extensive range of products and solutions for printing and packaging industry, Creed Engineers Pvt Ltd recently sold ABG’s (UK) Omega Slitter Rewinder with 100 percent inspection system and core cutter to Mumbai based leading label manufacturer, JK Labels alias JK Fine Prints Pvt Ltd.

The Omega Slitter Rewinder has been specifically designed for high speed slitter inspection applications within the label industry which can reach speeds of 300 meters a minute while maintaining accurate rewind tension, ensuring high quality finished rolls. The core cutter is a highly efficient cutter and its servo technology gives fully automated changeovers and core widths. It increases valuable factory space and reduce core stock holding.

As per Himanshu Kapur, director of JK Labels, “The core cutter will provide maximum efficiency while eliminating manpower, which is a key in today’s hi-tech world. The HSR slitting machine has been specially modified to meet our customer demands from pharmaceutical industry and provides high levels of quality. We do not compromise on our quality as all our incoming materials have to be sourced from ISO based companies, which have all human friendly clearances.”
