CITO-System GmbH, Germany has won the silver award at the International Print Technology Awards (IPTA)-2012/2013 for their RSP System 2.0. More than 1,500 individuals participated in a large online poll and voted CITO RSP System 2.0 as the second most innovative technology concept in the category ‘Print Finishing’.

With RSP System 2.0, creasing, cutting, kiss cutting and perforating – all can be executed without the need for an extra machine or additional personnel and without requiring time-consuming processing. The RSP System 2.0 is the economical and fast alternative to the classic converting of the products, offers various advantages including: reusable and achievable grid sheet, reusable and achievable RSP direct fit flexible die, high quality due to the possibility of register adjustment, and fast change in the machine in case of successional printing jobs.

The improvements implemented in the RSP System 2.0 with the patented new hinge, include: reduction in the number of expendable parts, and optimized makeready time. As the grid sheet the RSP direct fit flexible dies can also be mounted right on the base plate 2.0. RSP System 2.0 is available for the Heidelberg, Komori, and manroland sheetfed offset presses.
