Two Ricoh C901 digital printers installed in Kolkata

It is a digital colour production system that is equipped to produce an incredible variety of printed materials. Its flexible workflow, feeding and inline finishing suits print volume, low or high, while paper path technology enhancements significantly improve productivity, front to back registration and colour accuracy, impressively marrying offset-like quality with the added value of digital.

In April 2013, he installed the machine and since then, he has been churning out 1,00,000 A3 impressions per month. “The quality and performance of the Ricoh Pro C901 is excellent,” he shared. While, Raju Jalal of New Sushama Printers, who has been in the printing business for over 11 years, with both offset and digital set-up, also installed the Ricoh Pro C901 in April 2013. Right now, he is utilising this new machine to churn out 65,000-70,000 A3 impressions per month. “It is easy to use and the performance is unsurpassed,” exclaimed Raju. Since, both these printers are jobbers, they are utilising the machine for multiple applications like visiting cards, wedding cards, brochures, seminar documents, collaterals – to name a few.

It prints at rated speeds of 90 A4 colour pages per minute in duplex mode. It accepts media sizes up to 13” x 19.2” with a maximum weight of 300gsm without compromising speed. Integrated full-colour scanning, copying and document storage is designed to meet image capture and print-on-demand requirements. Its oil-less technology offers accuracy, reliability, flexibility and ease-of-use delivering offset-like results. The toner grain is smaller and homogenised – which creates a sharp dot shape and consistent half-tone image capable of rivalling offset quality.
