GACS educates students about print technology

To help new generation youth enter into the printing industry with adequate knowledge about it, Gujarat Academy of Creative Studies (GACS) is trying their best to flow awareness about printing technology among them. In this process, the academy recently organized an awesome activity regarding employment in printing industry at one of the Girls College in Rajkot.

In an informative seminar on ‘Career in Printing Technology’ at college premises, Pankaj Paun from the academy provided very valuable and interested information about printing industry and opportunities for better career, in addition to talking about a six-months course in this regard. During his presentation, apart from 70-80 students of Home Science Department, principal and most of the professors were also present.

Being impressed a lot, just after that seminar, college asked the academy to provide free training session for some days to provide more information that may help students to enter into this industry. Academy prepared special syllabus for the audio/visual presentation providing enough information about printing Industry from beginning to current technology including software.

To encourage students during this seminar, dignitaries of printing industries from Saurashtra and Rajkot region were also invited. Students were also taken to visit Pelican Poly Prints and Gujarat Grafik Pvt Ltd at Metoda GIDC, where they were able to witness flexo, rotogravure and offset printing machines and all process on different substrates.
