Together with Tomorrow – a seminar by Boettcher at Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu
Boettcher India Pvt. Ltd. conducted a seminar at Sivakasi along with collaboration of Sivakasi Master Printers Association which has membership of more than 500 printers. Prabhat Kumar, Product Marketing Manager of Boettcher India Pvt. Ltd. brings a report.
On June 15, 2022, Boettcher India Pvt. Ltd. organised a seminar on the theme “Together with Tomorrow” at Sivakasi. “Sivakasi” is a small town in the state of Tamil Nadu in Southern part of India. It is one of the hubs of printing industry in India. It is famous for fire crackers, match box packaging and commercial printing like wedding cards, note books, calendar/diary etc.
The event began with welcome of approximately 75 guests present as enthusiastic audience. The presentation was made with a focus on preparedness for tomorrow’s challenges.
The seminar dwelt upon the role and responsibilities of Boettcher India which was carried out in last 16 years in terms of awareness of good practices like “ECS system “ to be adopted on the machines, how Boettcher rollers are value for money, and how better washes and better maintenance pay back in long run.
It was also discussed, about new demands and compliance required for packaging printers, like DQS, REAch, RoHS, ISEGA etc.
The seminar also focused on how Boettcher India did not merely act as trading partner but also created awareness about implication of non-standard products on their machines, health of the worker at the press and ultimately the environment.
Product managers Prabhat and Arun Kumar made respective presentation on Chemistry and Rollers. The audience had very healthy discussion and we had an interactive session also.
It was an initiative by Boettcher in better understanding, interacting and making personal touch with the owner and printers at the machine.
This market has always been a strong base for Boettcher India, which has also hired a Sales person, Kumaran who has done a good job in last one year, and the company is hopeful that in this balance half year, their business will grow by more than 20%.
Boettcher India has already planned to conduct these events in different and growing markets in small centers to make printers feel that they are “Together for Tomorrow.”
