Insight becomes pan India distributors for Komori products

With a combination of the latest Komori technologies like HUV, KHS-AI, Komori Digital and the launch of the 25”x 37” press LA437, Komori Corporation plans to double their installation base in India in the next three years, while they have already installed more than 100 brand new presses in India.

Taking a significant move regarding Indian market, Komori Corporation Japan has appointed Insight Communication & Print Solutions India Pvt Ltd – as all India distributors for selling and servicing its products. Insight Communications, which was earlier handling only the north India territory, has already made complete arrangements to take over the support for each and every installation of all new Komori presses sold in the last few years.

The preparation for this change has been going on for last three months and Insight has already appointed a very strong team of engineers based out of Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. It will also add engineers in Chennai as more and more installations start to happen in that region.

As per Toshiyasu Kobutera, general manager, Komori Corporation, “We believe that this change is for the better and our customers will be serviced much better by Insight Communications which have had a much better record of customer service with a very strong base of satisfied customers. “Insight has restructured itself to become more solutions centric and has created four verticals to address the customer needs more appropriately, including publishing, packaging, commercial printing and sign and display. Komori presses are the best as it has solutions like the recently launched LA437 for the publishing segment, the enthrone series is ideally suited for generating healthy profits for the commercial short run print segment. Komori is also going to be leading the packaging segment with the recent launch of the HUV printing technology and the Komori Chambon series. It can address needs from the very basic to the most complicated boxes of the Packaging segment,” added Ajay Aggarwal, director of the company.
