IPAMA eyes for a dedicated cluster at IMT Faridabad

For the benefit of the Indian Printing & Packaging Industry and to extend the maximum facilities to its members, IPAMA had been exploring the possibility of developing industrial cluster or plots in Faridabad/(NCR), in collaboration with HSIIDC (A Government of Haryana Undertaking). In pursuance to this, IPAMA invited printing, packaging & allied machinery manufacturers for site visit of IMT (Industrial Model Township) and interactive session with HSIIDC officials at Faridabad recently.

In response to the call of IPAMA, approximately 50 manufacturers attended the meeting and expressed their willingness for industrial plots in the form of a cluster.

After visiting the industrial plots developed by HSIIDC, Salil Narang, general manager, HSIIDC (A Govt. of Haryana Undertaking), furnished details about the Cluster Scheme in depth.

The detailed discussion with the members covered the prevailing land rates, and various other important issues. Soon after the meeting, 14 plots were booked on the spot, totaling an area of 15,600 square meters, while a few members showed genuine interest.

While concluding the meeting KS Khurana, president and CP Paul, general secretary, IPAMA elaborated the benefits of Cluster Scheme and importance of factories at single place by citing success stories of similar Clusters.

CP Paul thanked Narang and his team and the members present for their enthusiastic response to the proposal.
