Taking another initiative to help print industry, Coimbatore-based Autoprint Machinery Manufacturers Pvt Ltd, along with Manugraph and TechNova (as training partners), has envisaged an efficiency enhancement programme for printers. Under this unique training programme proposed to be implemented through various printers’ associations across the country, the company would make an arrangement to train operators at the concerned printer’s own facility. In order to make the programme a great success and obtain industry view points, Autoprint recently organised a get together with executive committee members of Delhi Printers’ Association (DPA).

On the occasion, giving overview of the proposed programme, CN Ashok, managing director and CEO, Autoprint, informed, “With collective initiative by at least ten printers, we will appoint a well qualified trainer to run efficiency enhancement programme, who will one by one go to each printer’s site for twice half-day training in a week. He will not only train the staff to increase their efficiency, but also look after the betterment in pressroom chemistry, maintenance, costing, and waste management, which ultimately increase the productivity and profitability of the printers. For this training programme, every printer will have to contribute only Rs 10,000 per month paying advance for one year. With willingness to cooperate and implement trainer’s recommendations, printers would significantly witness improvement in their entire operation.”

Established in 1992, Autoprint is one of the leading printing and allied machinery manufacturers in India, offering a wide range of products including: Autoprint 1510 Colt (single colour), 1520 Colt (single colour), Knight (single colour), Dion 250 (two colour) and Dion 450 (four colour) sheet-fed offset machines (commercial printing); Pack to Pack 7000s (single colour) and Pack to Pack 10000i (two colour) for continuous stationery printing (computer support); Repetto 65 (die punch & creasing), Fine Coat 80 and 65 – an offline flexo coating machine for UV and aqueous coatings; and Autoprint Reckoner VDP 50 and VDP 65; etc. As per Ashok, “Presently, we have 12 products in our portfolio, and launch at least a new product every year.
