The event also marked the second installation of Scodix in India. The equipment on display at the Printpack India held at Grater Noida, Delhi NCR was earmarked for New Delhi based Chanakya Mudrak Pvt Ltd.

Speaking on the occasion TP Jain, MD, Monotech Systems Ltd felt privileged to host the event. He thanked P Chellappan of PM Digital for being the first company to install Scodix in India. TP Jain acknowledged and appreciated the vision of those two companies, having boosted their confidence in the product and the guts to acquire this machine thereby taking the creativity to next level benefitting the end users.

Co-founder & CEO of Scodix (Israel) Kobi Bar, who came all the way for the event talked about growing market of digital print enhancement. Established just six years ago Scodix is proud to install over 50 such machines worldwide. With this technology the post press enhancement has come of age eliminating the pains involved in conventional processes. Already partnering with companies like Xerox, Fujifilm, HP and Screen, the growth of 100 percent has been happening year on year. Talked extensively about applications galore, Kobi Bar did not forget to remind the vast potential lying within the “wedding” market of India.

A very familiar face in India, Lior Meron, VP Asia Pacific, Scodix was also present in the open house, he elaborated the current changing needs in the society and said, “Visual attack is overwhelming and in such situations how can one be different? Here comes the varied application possible by Scodix technology, which include Scodix SENSE, etc!” Other interesting applications relating to metallic effect was explained by their marketing specialist Rony Guez and ‘the processes involved step by step.’ He also showed the path to printers as how best to win the contracts by offering Scodix metallic features.

High level of creativity and complex designs are required to be brought in.

Inder too had fallen in love by seeing Scodix in drupa, “In today’s competitive market specially in India one needs to offer some ‘ad-on’ over the normal print and what best one could take out is from Scodix,” he conveyed.

Though there would be challenges but already producing creative jobs on our ‘HP Indigo’ press, we are confident to learn this new technology sooner than expected, especially with the support of team Monotech,” added Inder. He called upon fellow printers present in the open house to take advantage of this installation and offer newer enhancement techniques to their clients.
