VINSAK brings laser technology for flexo and gravure processes

Based on laser technology from Lead Lasers BV (a Netherland based supplier for the flexo and gravure industry),VINSAK, provider of extensive range of solutions for printing and packaging industry has brought a solution that enables direct engraving of image either to the continuous sleeves or flexo plates on sleeves as per requirement. The ability of the technology to engrave either continuous sleeves, flat plates or plate-on-sleeves, give the opportunity to utilize a single processor for production of printing formes for flexible film, labels, sausage casings, folding cartons, beverage cans and aluminum tubes (to name a few).

Specially suited for flexible packaging, this technology gives flexo printers the opportunity to optimize quality and pre-press cost. Ideal for both, either trade-shops or medium/narrow web flexo printing applications, the technology is a direct CtP laser engraving system for engraving continuous elastomer or polymer sleeves, and flexographic printing plates up to 1400 mm (55”) print width.
