Technical seminar by Pidilite

Pidilite Industries conducted a Technical Lecture/Seminar under the auspices of The Printing Technologists Forum recently. Fevicol, FixIt, Fevikwik, Hi-Seal, Fevistik are some of the well known products one uses daily. Pidilite are present in every field: print finishing, packaging, construction materials and art materials. Their adhesives are used in lamination, binding and packaging.

Sanjeev Kalra, a chemical engineer, with his three decades experience in the field of hot melts and adhesives, dealt with the intricacies of products in printing industry like their content structure, properties and usage tips in his hour long presentation. While, Ramani, branch manager, Pidilite Industries, Chennai, gave an overview about the company and its products.

Besides, V Ganesh Kumar, product manager, Heidelberg India, enthralled the audience on Colour Perception’. The audience were taken in with his breath taking slides showing how one sees the colour differently when looked singly and in midst of a collage of other colour structures.
