Line O Matic plans to participate at Printpack India 2015 with 950 sq m display area

The Indian Printing Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA) has received overwhelming response for booking of space in the 12th Printpack India 2015. Till date, the biggest exhibitor is Line O Matic from Ahmedabad which has booked an area of 950 sq m followed by Canon India with 324 sq m and Monotech 240 sq m of space.

A view of the venue at Printpack India 2013Organised by IPAMA, the Printpack India (PPI) 2015 is being held from February 11-15, 2015 at Expo Centre, Greater Noida. Printpack India 2015 will provide 360° view of the Graphic Arts Industry. A unique platform for the buyers and sellers of pre-press, in-press, post press, finishing, converting, digital & signage and packaging machines, PPI is an excellent forum to deliberate and explore for joint ventures and exchange of technological know-how with leading manufacturers from all over the Globe. While, time- tested and traditional colour printing, packaging, post-press and finishing shall continue to be the centre stage, digital & signage will be visitor pullers. However, indigenously designed, devised and produced world class equipment & machinery will highlight the show.

Stands: bigger than before

The space booking for PPI 2015 had effectively commenced only in the first week of April 2014; within a short span of two months, it has already crossed more than 11,000 sq m (Net). A large number of enquiries are also being received daily by the marketing division of IPAMA for booking of space. If this trend of booking of space continues, IPAMA would be able to complete the booking of space within the next two to three months. It is interesting to note that many exhibitors have increased their space by two to three times in comparison to their previous participation in PPI 2013. Some of the participants, who had taken only one stand during PPI 2013, have booked two or more independent stands in PPI’15 at different halls.

Line O Matic’s shopfloor in their Ahmedabad worksThe targeted space booking for Printpack India 2015 has been fixed at 40,000 square meters (Gross), which will be easily achieved during the coming months. IPAMA is expecting 500 national and international exhibitors for this event. The Exhibition Committee of IPAMA is finalizing the allotment of space strictly on ‘first come first served basis’ and also monitoring it. Keeping in view the welfare of the national and international exhibitors, IPAMA has not made any increase in the space rentals for PPI 2015, even though additional facilities will be provided to the participants during this exhibition. IPAMA has retained the same rentals for this event, as were applicable to Printpack India 2013 exhibition. For the first time, there will be a separate pavilion for printers participation, which is a new addition and space will be allotted to printers on subsidy.

There are national and international associations extending their wholehearted support to the aforesaid exhibition. It is being supported by AIFMP, SGAI, NPES-USA, IEIA, PEIAC-China, VDMA-Germany, Malaysia, Korea, Japan etc.
