Channel partner meet with a difference

Faridabad-based APL Machinery Pvt Ltd recently conducted a two-day Channel Partner Meet for its distributors and new prospects. Every year, apart from the professional activities, the meet also had a programme for personal development. This time, there was a motivational session on ‘Be the CEO of your life’ by Shyam Taneja, internationally acclaimed management guru. This programme was attended by around 60 people including not just the distributors but a few close contacts from other professions as well.

The session started with a welcome address by Rajiv Kapoor, CEO of APL Machinery Pvt Ltd, while, CP Paul, director of APL Machinery Pvt Ltd also welcomed the audience to this motivational seminar.

In his discussion Shyam Taneja stressed that everybody should have a dream, only then they can realize it. He also said that the word problem need to be out, challenge is a better word. Other important points in his discussion included making a choice and then sticking to it with passion; making commitment for success; thinking and speaking positive; etc. “Everyone has unlimited potential but hardly 10 percent of it being achieved,” he said. Besides, Taneja also emphasized the importance of regular physical exercise and maintaining health.

The audiences were engaged in a fruitful seminar which was aimed at changing their lives for the betterment and attain the position of CEO of their own life.
