Print college should be converted into world university for print education – Pt. Vasantrao Gadgil

At the 4thannual programme held by Mudran Maharshi, Dr Pa Bha Kulkarni Pratishthan felicitated former Principal of MIPT, former Professor of Printing engineering college and MIPT and Ex Asst Director DTE – Mumbai, Rishikumar Uniyal by hands of Pandit Vasantrao Gadgil. Pratishthan presented Uniyal sir with “Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar” in the form of Manpatra, Puneri Pagdi, Shawl, and memento for his great contribution made in the print education in particular and printing industry in general.

Pandit Vasantrao Gadgil, in his brief speech, urged that the PVG directors to set the vision to upgrade and convert the present facility from just a printing college in India to World University for Print Education with the help of its strong base in print industry & with the help of Pratishthan.

On the occasion, 3 alumni of Pune Vidyarthi Griha colleges, namely B.S. Shesh, CEO Burda Druk India, Amol Deshpande, Director – Amol Associates & Mandar Ugar, Director – Vikram Printers & Founder – WordSmith Publications, also named in Power 100 list published by PrintWeek were felicitated.

While taking forward the mission of Pratishthan, like every year, needy students from printing diploma P were awarded a scholarship of Rs 5000 each along with merit certificates. Meritorious students from final year printing diploma, Chitali Dhore & Satyamkumar Rai along with Print Engineers of COET, Avinash Ghumre & Shubhangi Darfe are awarded with books and certificates.
