Rave Packaging, in association with Univacco, foil manufacturers from Taiwan organised an open house at their newly built 1,50,000 sq ft well equipped printing facility at IMT Manesar, Haryana. Showcasing latest technology in cold foiling and enhancing printing/packaging techniques on the newly installed Heidelberg CD 102 6LX Combi press FoilStar, the 3rd Gen and Next Gen Image Control – the first ever in India, they demonstrated live foil printing on various substrates. The open house was attended by over 200 printing fraternities including printers, publishers, distributors, PSPs, media and other print professionals.

Shiv Bhatnagar, COO of Rave Packaging, gave an overview of Rave, which was established in 1993 and is now an ISO certified company with 500 employees. He also outlined the benefits of cold foil such as screen dot printing, convergence with metallic colours, metal effects in register printing, etc.

The machine can print on substrates like PP, PET, Poly Vinyl, Art Card, Board and paper, giving environment friendly solution.
