At this year’s drupa, 417 Chinese exhibitors took up over 26,000 square meters of net exhibition space. With China representing over 25% of all participants, the organizer of drupa designated May 31st as ‘China Day’. This special designation not only underscores the burgeoning global impact of China’s printing sector but also serves as a moment of pride for the Chinese exhibitors involved.

All in Print China Düsseldorf Presentation: Dive into the cutting-edge topics with the printing industry experts

In the afternoon of May 31st, 2024, the All in Print China Düsseldorf Presentation was held during drupa at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. The event attracted over 100 attendees, including industry leaders, association representatives, corporate executives, and media partners from China and other countries.

Sabine Geldermann, Director drupa, Print Technologies Messe Düsseldorf, delivered the welcome speech. She noted that All in Print China has established itself as the most influential printing exhibition in Asia, encompassing technology trends as well as innovations driven by global megatrends in a fast-changing world. AIP 2026 (October 2026, Shanghai New International Expo Centre) will once again receive the full support from drupa which is the world’s leading trade fair for printing technologies, through its global network and open up new business opportunities for international customers.

While, Chen Yingxin, Vice President of the Printing Technology Association of China, detailed the current developments in China’s printing industry. Moreover, Yingxin put forward important guidelines for All in Print China 2026, stressed that the All in Print China 2026 would continue to focus on innovation, constantly improve the value of the show, and make every effort to promote international exchanges and cooperation.

On behalf of the organizer of All in Print China, Marius Berlemann, Regional Head of Messe Düsseldorf for Asia and Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf in China, acknowledged All in Print’s significant role in Asia’s printing industry. For the All in Print China 2023, with over 1,000 top Chinese and international companies exhibiting across 110,000 square meters and attracting over 100,000 visitors, the show has met its high expectations with a record-breaking exhibition space and the highest number of visitors in the history.

Spectacular China Night by drupa: When table tennis met printing

On the evening of May 31st, the China Night was presented by Messe Düsseldorf China with over 200 Chinese exhibitors and industry experts involved. The unique evening was blended with table tennis matches, German culinary delights and engaging interactions, offering memorable experience to Chinese exhibitors coming all the way to drupa.

Diener, President & CEO of Messe Düsseldorf pointed out that Messe Düsseldorf has worked hard over the years to strengthen ties to China and the success of the China Day along with the many exhibitors and visitors is proof that hard work has been successful.

Consul General Du pointed out that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Germany. Ten years ago, President Xi visited North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and highlighted that NRW is one of Germany’s most populous and economically powerful states, playing a crucial role in Sino-German trade and investment cooperation.

While, Cai Shugui, Deputy Director General of Printing and Distribution Bureau of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, highlighted China’s dedication to advancing the printing industry through high-quality development. He stressed the importance of embracing digital and intelligent transformation, innovation, and openness to collaboration with Germany and other nations.
