Reed Exhibition, China congratulates Kamal Chopra

Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) felt honoured and was proud on the visit of Keith Ma, assistant manager, Reed Exhibition, Shanghai, China. Keith personally visited OPA, Ludhiana recently to handover the congratulatory message of Thomas Huang, vice president, Reed Exhibitions (China) Ltd. Shanghai to Kamal Chopra on being elected as the vice president (North) of the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP). With headquarter at London (UK) Reed Exhibition Ltd is the world’s leading event organizers. On the behalf of printers of Ludhiana OPA Keith was felicitated by Hans Raj Chopra, Amarjot Arora, Manish Jain, Parvesh Jagga, Anoop Garg, Varinder Jindal, Parveen Aggarwal and Kamal Chopra.

Discussing the areas of scope for the Ludhiana printers Keith said, “Ludhiana is basically a packaging town and it is therefore, I do feel, that there is excellent scope for rigid box in this area.” Keith also told that there is great scope for collaboration between Chinese rigid box manufacturers and this market is open for Ludhiana printers. Some of the Chinese manufacturers are also looking for franchise in India for the supply of quality rigid boxes. On the system of management and availability of finance, Keith said that the interest rate of the bankers in China is about six percent per annum. He said in some cases even the money can be made available by the bankers without any interest.
