A panel of Canon technical experts explicated the printing architecture of Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2000 at a briefing session held recently at Canon Business Solution Lounge, Gurgaon (Haryana). Announcing the launch of the compact machine, Puneet Datta, assistant director (marketing), BIS Division, Canon India said, “With the colour market growing exponentially, this new series will give an extra edge to small and medium enterprises at an affordable cost.”

The launch of Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2000 has evident a radical advancement to help users scale up their business as well as imaging needs since this machine is built upon Canon’s MEAP (Multi-functional Embedded Application Platform). Attributively defined by ‘5Cs’ signifying cost, convenience, customisation, consistency and cuteness of the machine with which users can experience colour prints and essential document functionalities in a compact standalone device delivering outstanding productivity through print, copy, scan and fax.

“This new imageRUNNER ADVANCE range is a true multi-role device that recognises the importance of coloured documents in business and at the same time helps control costs associated. It delivers the benefits of digital copy, network print, colour scanning and optional fax features, along with flexible paper handling and finishing options that help save time, space and most of all, document production costs,” mentioned Puneet. This series is an answer to the swift increase in page volumes shifted from monochrome-only-device to colour-capable-device taking place over the last five years.

Unique and simplified workflows

Canon iR ADVANCE C2000 series offers print resolution of 1200×1200 dpi and consistently delivers high image quality for texts at the speeds up to 30 pages per minute. This machine can also be connected directly to a workstation using a standard USB 2.0 high speed port or leveraged as a shared network resource through a highly efficient 1000/100BaseTX/10 Base-T Ethernet interface.

Since Canon is committed to ‘green’ technology through every phase of its product lifecycle, iR ADVANCE C2000 is made of bio-plastic materials. More than 30 percent of CO2 emission of the machine has been controlled in each stage of manufacturing, energy use and logistics. It consumes maximum 1.5KW while running and only 1KW in sleep mode.
