Scodix has introduced a complete digital UV enhancement Scodix S series models in drupa, including S74 B2+(20×29 inch) / S54 B3+ (14x20inch) /S74 pro B2+(20×29 inch). These models feature online rainbow (glittering) / braille / barcode options having a resolution up to 2540x 360dpi, image to image registration camera based OPA, eco-friendly polymer with thickness up to 250 microns-100 times higher than selective varnish, subsrates weight 135-675 gsm and thickness up to 0.7mm, highest gloss 99GU avaible for printed material, variable patterns and densities capabilities ranging from one percent to hundred percent in single pass.

Being a clean, green process, this solution contains no polluting additives, eliminating plate molds, chemical and solvents, while reducing energy consumption. Print service providers and their customers enjoy the freedom of doing UV to print runs of any size on demand. It is a completely digital solution supporting PDF or optimized PDF with no need for additional complex UV set up and you can do UV on preprinted material like paper, digtial, PVC, cards, as conveyed by Amritpal Singh Bawa, national head, digital enhencement and software, Monotech.
