Over the years the printing industry has grown and made giant strides. In recent times physics and chemistry developed in the prepress, press and post press operations, are immense and printing works are done artistically and sharply with increasing application of computers. In postpress, UV varnish coating has made work fast, to cater to the customer’s needs. Digital press has overtaken conventional presses. With this, India is fast becoming one of the major print producer and manufacturer of printed paper products for the world market. Books, journals and printed jobs are exported to around 120 countries. In this scenario, PAMEX has a major role to play, proving a ‘must to attend show’ for updating the prevailing and emerging trends in the graphic arts industry.
