Maxprint marks ‘first’ in India to acquire Heidelberg Easygluer 55

Recently, this packaging specialist company has made the distinction of being the first printing company in India to acquire Easygluer 55, the latest addition in Heidelberg’s range of carton folder gluers.

Affordably priced Easygluer 55 is compact and easy-to-operate, requiring very little time to set up. Changing jobs from straight line to crash lock and back again is quite a simple process when using Easygluer 55. The machine can handle a maximum blank width of up to 550 mm; it also has a special attachment for CD/DVD sleeves.

With the new machine, Maxprint is getting an output of 70,000 cartons per hour. Kalpesh Loonawat, owner of the company is happy by installing Easygluer 55 which has enabled them to increase their output three-fold. “Our experience with Heidelberg’s staff at the time of installing Easygluer 55 was very good and we found them very co-operative, helpful and dedicated,” conveyed Kalpesh.

Now, Maxprint is equipped with several high-end one Heidelberg SM 72 V CPTronic four-colour press; one Heidelberg SORMZ CPC two-colour press; one Polar 115 EMC cutting machine; three die-cutting machines (one of these being a Heidelberg cylinder); two lamination machines; and two carton folding and pasting machines, including Easygluer 55. “Heidelberg machines have always good resale value. I feel that Heidelberg’s products may be more expensive than the others but they are definitely worth the extra money because of good quality and after-sales-service,” commented Kalpesh.

Maxprint’s prominent clients include: Maxheal Pharmaceuticals (India) Limited, and retail majors – ‘Star Bazar’ of Tata group and ‘More’ of Aditya Birla group and ‘L’Oreal’. Making a journey from banking service to printing, Kalpesh Loonawat is happy with his present occupation and in future seeks to expand his business to publishing of books as well!
