Guwahati’s leading publications and commercial printer Bhabani Print & Publications recently purchased a new manroland press – a ROLAND 704 for their Guwahati print facility to cater their rapidly growing publications business in the North East market. With this development, manroland strengthens its market share in the commercial printing segment and announces plans for expanding service and spare parts support aggressively in eastern India.

The ROLAND 700 HiPrint at Bhabani is a four-colour sheetfed press equipped with a special size -format 3B Plus (780 mm x 1050 mm), with an additional 40 mm of printing area and hence 50 percent higher productivity in the same print run. The GATF award winning ROLAND 700 HiPrint is a high performance press for superior commercial printing, designed with double diameter impression, mark free transferter and full 7 o’clock cylinder position for flattest sheet travel and mark free printing. The press is also equipped with features enabling faster make ready and reduced changeover time; such as Power Plate Loading – 3/4th automatic plate changing without opening guards; QuickChange Surface – special polymer coated ink fountain for faster cleaning, no consumables requirement and up to 30 percent less cleaning solvent consumption.

Starting their operations in 1990 with a single letterpress machine, Bhabani Print & Publications has created a strong market leadership in the commercial and publications sector within a short span of time. Today, Bhabani is equipped with several lines of multi-colour printing presses in their high capacity printing facilities at Panikhaiti and Rajgarh.
