Apprenticeship training centre gets upgraded at manroland sheetfed
As part of its commitment to train technically competent and knowledegable production workers, Manroland Sheetfed recruits around 15 apprentices every September. As part of the production training programme, instructors and trainers alike impart valuable experience on machine use as well as the latest printing technology.
Now Manroland Sheetfed has just made the learning experience even more comprehensive and enjoyable for the apprentices by investing in a new CNC machining center at its training facility in Offenbach/Mühlheim, Rafael Peñuela, chief executive officer of Manroland Sheetfed, and Dr Oliver Sticht, head of human resources, see education as an important part of the company’s future; “The decision to invest 70,000 euros in a new CNC machining centre was easy,” said Peñuela.
Apprentices now have the opportunity to learn all the latest developments in the field of “Zerspanungsmechanik” (cutting machine operator) preparing them for a long and rewarding future with Manroland Sheetfed.
