Printex 2014: well-attended!

PRINTEX 2014 was successfully held from March 14-16, 2014 at Bombay Exhibition Center, Mumbai. The show was organised by Maharashtra Mudran Parishad and VNB International. It has been a comprehensive trade show for commercial, printing, publishing, and converting technology, representing all stages of the technological print process including pre-press, press, post press and consumables.

It was a well-attended show, attracting a total of 11,382 visitors. Group visits from smaller cities around Mumbai were arranged by the organisers to the fair, which was much appreciated.

Tharstern Ltd, a UK based company has made comeback in India. Speaking to Abdul Kassas, director, Tharstern Ltd, it was revealed that they have a different model to market their products and shall now be offering ‘pay as you use’ model.

Welbound Worldwide was present with their innovative binding solutions. Other exhibitors who made their mark included: Autoprint Machinery Mfrs Pvt Ltd Modular Infotech Pvt Ltd, Monotech Systems Ltd, Pratham Technologies Pvt Ltd, etc.

Monotech@Printex 2014

Monotech Systems showcased the new innovations in digital printing with live demonstration of Konica Minolta C6000 production printer, Canon iPF 750 and Oce Plotwave 340 Large Format Printer. They also displayed and distributed the samples of their star product Scodix Digital Enhancement Press, Process Metallic Color System from Color Logic and Specialized BOPP films from Derprosa.
