-begins a finance assistance programme in cooperation with Indian Overseas Bank (IOB)

Lack of easy access to bank loans for small and medium entrepreneurs is one of the major problems in Indian print industry. In a bid to minimize this problem, Coimbatore-based Autoprint Machinery Manufacturers Pvt Ltd has taken praiseworthy initiative. The company recently signed an ‘MOU on loan syndication’ with Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) aiming to finance for printing machines manufactured and supplied by Autoprint.

As per CA Gopalkrishnan, full time consultant to Autoprint, under this programme, any individual/firm/company in India can purchase Autoprint’s machines through bank financing, with rate of interest between 12.5 to 13 percent per annum. With provision of 15 percent margin money, 85 percent finance will be executed without any processing fee and repayment may be made during three to five years with holiday period of three months.

Sanjeev Popli, director, Vidhur Graphic Solutions (distributors of Autoprint), New Delhi conveyed that under this financing scheme, they are initially targeting of around one crore rupees worth business. To generate 500 proposal for finance, Autoprint will organize ‘loan exhibitions’ in 13 cities across the country, where persons from the Bank will be available to answers all queries from the customers. The company has already executed 70 cases all over India under this scheme in order to boost sales of Autoprint’s machines.
