The second edition of the expo is staging from October 29-31, 2012 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi by unfolding a fresh array of exhibits and new ‘live’ activities in its popular LiveExperience Zones. Stay informed about the expo in advance to make comfortable exploration of the exhibition floor in a favourable manner.
What to exhibit?
Versatile and focused participants who are carrying out resourceful exhibits in the second edition of India Sign + Digital would include all key industry players engaging in manufacturing and distributions of digital large-format printers, CNC routers, plotters/cutters, substrates, vinyl, print finishing equipments, glow signs, A-boards/pavement displays, anti-graffiti/bacterial signage, cut/moulded/built-up letters, finished sign systems, floor-graphics, heat transfer, dye-sublimation, labels/decals, POS/displays, software and lots more. ISD guarantees the exhibits being a reflection of what is trending in the current signage market of India.
Who will visit?
Crowd of visitors at ISD 2012 would be from 23 key market segments, which include PSPs, ad agencies, architects, fleet service providers, outdoor media, commercial printers, copy shops/repro houses, corporate/business signage, print users, etc. Region-wise segregation of the crowd who thronged the debut edition of the expo last year consisted of north India (48%), south India (15%), west India (13%), central India (11%), east India (9%), and overseas (4%). It has been expected a bigger crowd this year and almost 90 percent of them would turn out to be decision makers.
What’s new in ‘live’ zones?
The popular LiveExperience Zones of ISD will have fresh fervours with the addition of three more new zones, viz. ScreenExpression Zone, CeramicPrint Zone and NarrowFormat Zone, adding fresh thrills to the existing WallArt Zone, WrapperZone, TextileTemptation Zone and Events&Show Zone. Newly launched ScreenExpression Zone would be a zone where expanding possibilities of screen printing can be caught and CeramicPrint Zone will be a preferred spot to witness customised bath, kitchen and other applications. And NarrowFormat Zone will doubtlessly be a groundbreaking new zone underlining attractive range of print-on-demand digital printing viz. photo books, event collaterals, etc.
What’s bigger opportunity?
India being a market of more than 12,500 sign makers with a turnover of Rs 5,700 crore and more than Rs 3,750 crore capital investment and around 3,95,000 employed manpower directly/indirectly, the large-format printing domain alone stands at around 995 million euro and OOH segment (ad spending) is estimated to attain 400 million euro. ISD is indeed at threshold to navigate into the unexplored domains of the emerging Indian market.
