PackTech Asia to be held in Jammu

PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) is organizing PackTech Asia – an exhibition on the latest packaging technologies from March 16 – 18, 2023 at Jammu.

PackTech Asia, an exhibition on packaging technologies is an initiative of the National Packaging Committee of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI). The event will showcase the latest technologies, machinery & equipment for the packaging needs of several industries such as Agro & food processing industries, beverages, brewing, canning, bottling, confectionery, dairy & bakery, snacks, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, supply chain & logistics, etc.

The exhibition will offer Buyer Seller Meet (BSM), which will open numerous doors of opportunities for Indian manufacturers and businesses from related sectors to expand their footprints mainly to developing nations. BSM 2023 promises to have delegations from several countries and a large number of international buyers will be hosted by PHDCCI with support from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India for a tie-up with Indian Exhibitors.

Why J&K?

The New Industrial Policy of J&K (2021-30) aims to drive Industrial growth in the traditional core sectors, like Agriculture, Food Processing, and Health, as well as Newage technology-driven sectors. Among other favorable demographic aspects of J&K such as the number one grower state of fruits, growing urbanization, rising consumer awareness, and demand for convenience and processed food, the demand for the packaging industry has increased. The packaging industry would play a key role in transforming the entire agriculture-based value chain into a more productive and specialized setup with a global outreach.

Pack Tech Asia will bring J&K region to the centerstage of packaging by offering a unique platform at Jammu that will enable meaningful business between the service & solution providers and the consumer industries in the J & K region & will also help boost up the business opportunities in the J&K region for partnership, collaboration, technology transfer, knowledge sharing, etc.
