Delhi-based book printing expert, Rahul Print O Pack has bought a brand-new Speedmaster SX 102 8P from Heidelberg. The addition of the new Heidelberg press is the fourth installation and its second Suprasetter CtP at the factory. The book production house, Rahul Print O Pack, is a dedicated publishing firm with specialization in school textbooks and academic print jobs.
Ajay Soni, founder of Rahul Print O Pack, said, “For us, our first choice has always been Heidelberg.”
Ajay Soni set up the company in 2018 with the Speedmaster CS four colour press and a Suprasetter A 106 CtP, Over the last 6 years, Rahul Print O Pack has invested in several HEIDELBERG equipment which include 2 Speedmaster CS 92 press, 1 Speedmaster CX 92 and 2 Suprasetter 106 at their shopfloor.
The latest Speedmaster SX 102, eight colour press installed at Rahul is customized for 92 format, which also helpful for to swap any print jobs, between the other 92 format presses. The Speedmaster SX 102 from HEIDELBERG has a maximum print output of 14,000 sph with a print format of 640×920 mm,” Soni explains.

On a retrospective thought Rahul feels that the eight-colour perfector is the machine for catering to the publishers and given a choice he would want to have more of them at their shop floor. “With minimal manpower, we are able to turn around a much higher volume of printed sheets,” says Rahul Soni, Director.
Rahul informed us that almost 30% of their revenue today is from the packaging of the books which is done on duplex board. “Today our publisher needs us to pack a set of books in a box to sell as a combo or a set which appeals to a particular section of their customers. Therefore, we do the packing too for them which in fact turns out to be a better business proposition for us,” beams Rahul.
