The Indian Printing Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA) is leaving no stone unturned to make the 14th edition of PRINTPACK INDIA exhibition a world-class event. The fair is scheduled to be held at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida from February 01 – 06, 2019. It is a premier international exhibition on Graphic Arts Industry in which exhibitors from different countries participate with their latest models of machinery and other related products. So far (till 6 Sep, 2018), 363 Indian and overseas exhibitors have already confirmed their space booking. The process of allotment of stands to the exhibitors is also going on in a most transparent manner by an expert committee and is expected to continue till December, 2018. The exhibition will cover a gross

area of more than 50,000 square meters.

To make the visitors visit easier and their hassle free entry into different Halls during PrintPack India 2019, IPAMA has started “Online Visitor Registration Portal.” The same was launched in the presence of President, IPAMA, Office bearers, Governing Council Members, special invitees and representatives of various periodicals, magazines, newspapers etc.

“There is no entry fee for online registered visitor but an offline visitor will have to shell out Rs 100 for entering the exhibition,” told S Dayaker Reddy, President, IPAMA at the launch. “E-badge is valid for entry, subject to photo ID card in original. There is no need to go to registration desk for printout,” he added. “Infact, it is one minute process to get the badge. What’s more? 40 gifts per day on the basis of Lucky draws for online registered visitor who will attend the event.” he added.

“We want visitors to make full utilisation of the time they visit the show. With online registration, they can save time. Even the visitors who forget to make pre-registration on the website can do so on the spot. Let’s go digital,” concludes Reddy.

“Printpack India 2019 will be bigger and better” says Naveen Gupta, Vice President – South, IPAMA, who shares more about the Printpack India 2019 exhibition.

P&P: There are lot of innovations at Printpack 2019 exhibition. Please tell us more about them.

Naveen: First time in PrintPack India, there will be complete range of Label machines. Heidelberg is also showing its presence for the first time at Printpack India. Komori and Ryobi are coming in a big way. Flexible packaging machine manufacturers are also participating in a bigger way. So overall the Printpack will be bigger and better this time.

P&P: What are your expectations from the show in terms of exhibitors and visitors?

Naveen: As per the current scenario, exhibition is bigger than last time, so obviously the exhibitors are more and are coming in big way. Visitor promotion started last year itself all the events done by printers are attended by IPAMA team to invite visitors. So this time visitors should be more than 1 lakh.

P&P: Please share details about the road shows happening for the show?

Naveen: Almost all the cities of India are covered or are planned. Till now there are more than 40 representation from IPAMA in exhibitions,conferences and other events.

P&P: How much space has been booked and what are your expectations?

Naveen:As per current statistics, more than 20000 sq mt is booked so we may cross around 4000 sq mt more.

P&P: What about visitors profile?

Naveen: More than 1 lakh visitors are expected and this time we are inviting all the brand managers and overseas companies in printing and packaging business. So overall visitor from across the world will increase. We have tied up with different countries specially SAARC.

P&P: What all events have been finalised?

Naveen: Finalisation of events is in process soon all the details will be out.

P&P: Any other thing you would like to add.

Naveen: Team IPAMA is taking all the ways to create a feel good experience for everybody. So to support us, all should come and appreciate the team. We are organising small seminars on different topics for knowledge sharing. We are requesting everyone to pre book through online registration so that we can make better arrangements.
