Industry majors make All in Print China 2011 visit-worthy

Fujifilm, Fuji Xerox, Kodak, Konica Minolta, Masterwork Machinery, Shanghai AFA Printing Machinery, Shanghai Electric Group Printing & Packaging Machinery Co, Synnex Group, Beijing Founder Electronics, and Beijing Jiahedingxin Technology & Business present preview of their exhibits in Shanghai

As the 4th China International Exhibition for All Printing Technology and Equipment (All in Print China 2011), co-organised by Printing Technology Association of China, China Academy of Printing Technology and Messe Dusseldorf (Shanghai) Co Ltd, during November 14-17, 2011 in Shanghai New International Expo Center is all set to mark remarkable success with presence of majors of the printing industries, both organizers and exhibitors are showing their initiatives and enthusiasm in its preparation. Having booked up all the booths for the expo by June 30, the organizers were encouraged to hold a show preview event in Shanghai on August 03, enabling the industry players to have a better understanding about the highlighted features of All in Print China 2011 and innovative technologies to be brought in the upcoming expo by the major exhibitors. At the preview event in presence of over 100 attendees, representatives of major exhibitors elaborated the highlighted features of their proposed exhibits during All in Print China 2011. At the show, in digital and prepress segment, prominent exhibitors like Kodak, Fujifilm, Fuji Xerox, Konica Minolta, etc will be showcasing their state-of-the-art technologies. Kodak will be showing its broad portfolio of solutions that help printers and marketers capture new business opportunities by improving efficiencies and adding innovative new services. Apart from a Kodak Magnus 800 platesetter, Trendsetter NX imager, Prinergy workflow, Trillian SP thermal plates, and NexPress, Kodak will be highlighting Prosper 1000 press, a monochrome digital inkjet press that is based on the company’s Stream inkjet technology and delivers offset-class quality, with a print width of up to 24.5 inches (62.2 cm) at speeds of up to 650 feet per minute (200 mpm). In his presentation, Wang Jie, sales director of Kodak (China) Investment Ltd gave a preview of the Kodak’s products emphasizing on ‘You press the button, we do the rest’. “We provide right machines with right application to right markets,” he said.

Konica Minolta is to showcase its new ‘bizhub PRESS’ at the show. Li Gang, deputy marketing director of Konica Minolta Business Solutions (China) Co Ltd introduced the gathering about this new digital printing system during the preview event. Fuji Xerox will also be showing their strength in digital printing. Talking about green printing and hybrid workflow (same for offset and digital), Zhu Wenye, product marketing manager of Fuji Xerox elaborated what they are to present at the upcoming show. Fujifilm will also be demonstrating their innovative solutions. Zhao Guang, marketing manager of Fujifilm (China) Investment Co Ltd presented a brief preview of them.

Dong Zhengping, deputy general manager of Shanghai Electric Group Printing & Packaging Machinery Co Ltd discussed about their enlightening vision for a win-win development. Liu Zhen, general manager of Shanghai AFA Printing Machinery Co Ltd talked about innovation for better future – green printing solutions from Komori. Besides, Huang Wei, general manager of Synnex Group, director of Board of Shanghai UPG International Trading Co Ltd; Wang Rongde, deputy general manager of Beijing Jiahedingxin Technology & Business Co Ltd; Luo Yunfeng, Inkjet product director of Beijing Founder Electronics Co Ltd; and Shen Zhihai, deputy general manager of Masterwork Machinery Co Ltd also gave presentation on their proposed exhibits at the All in Print China 2011.

Previously, Wu Wenxiang, honorary chairman of the Printing Technology Association of China; Zhang Shuangru, deputy executive director of the Printing Technology Association of China; Zhou Jianping, director of Printing Division, Shanghai Press and Publication Bureau; Yin Deming, president of Shanghai Printing Trade Association; and Ms Chen Yan, chief of China Academy of Printing Technology; and Tony Fung, CEO of Messe Dusseldorf (Shanghai) Co Ltd made interesting presentations highlighting various features of the show, which are to make this an outstanding success.

Since its debut in 2003, All in Print China has been marking constant growth which was witnessed during their three editions held so far, with substantial support and great recognition from exhibitors. Also, the fourth edition of the show is all set to leave indelible mark on the Chinese print industry, with effective participation of around 600 prominent exhibitors (in which 90 exhibitors are from overseas), covering the total exhibition area of about 71,000 sq m and organisers’ expectation of over 1,00,000 footfalls. For this upcoming show, more than 80 percent of key exhibitors have increased their exhibition area substantially, compared to the previous one. By setting up featured zones, All in Print China 2011 will present an intensive and in-depth display to the latest changes and real-time status of technologies, processes and applications, etc in professional fields. Besides traditional zones of Digital and Preprint Zone, CtP Zone, Ink Zone, Direct Mail Zone and Media Zone, the Green Printing Zone, Education Zone, Label and Bill Zone, and Special Paper Zone will also be elaborately prepared during this exhibition, so as to present featured exhibitions in various fields and various forms to visitors. Several high quality concurrent events are another highlight in addition to the showcase. All in Print China 2011 will continuously organize a series of keynote forums, such as China Printing Forum and ‘Digital Printing Technology in China’ Summit, etc. In the meantime, there will be a variety of seminars and activities held by relevant industry organization and exhibitors for customer reception and technical presentations.

So, with effective show features and relentless efforts to promote these, the organisers look quite assured to hold a high-quality trade fair in 2011, making it visit-worthy for all!
