Post Covid, things have started coming back to normal. Printing fairs are back, attracting good number of exhibitors and visitors to the show. While exhibitors are looking forward to showcase their products/services, they are also keen to offer innovative products they have developed during the pandemic.

The printers and the print consumers are equally committed to visit these print expos to know the prevailing trends and to make fresh investments into their existing setup. Printers are looking at diversifying into other segments like digital printing, packaging, labelling, etc to cater to the changing needs of the print consumers.

Media Expo was recently held in New Delhi and recorded massive business success for its exhibitors. Industry expressed high levels of trade optimism, confirming multiple on-site deals and potential business closures expected in the coming months.

Next in line is Labelexpo India 2022, which returns from November 10-13, 2022, bringing the industry together for four days of live demonstrations. Discover state-of-the-art presses, intelligent labels, finishing units, inks, dies and substrates from more than 250 leading manufacturers/suppliers. The Indian label industry is complex, dynamic and fast-growing (at 8% per year). Although wet glue labels are still growing, they are quickly making way for pressure sensitive and flexible labels. Flexo and combination presses also growing in a market traditionally dominated by offset. Digitally-printing labels are also coming up in a big way.

Another important expo for Indian visitors in PAMEX 2023, which will be held in Mumbai from March 27-30, 2023. With the theme of Convergence in Print, the show will showcase how modern print platforms are highly flexible and well suited for a wide range of applications from short runs to long runs prints and provide the technological foundation for the printers seeking migration to different segments due to varied commercial reasons. The ability of print technologies to print on a wide range of substrates is a great enabler of this convergence and so is the growing print enhancement and embellishment techniques.
