Chennai-based wire & post-press equipment company Gayathri Machinery is a one-stop provider of a string of machines and products from reputed overseas brands, such as Swiss print finishing specialist Multigraf, wire stitching machine manufacturer Hohner from Germany, wireO binding machine maker from Taiwan and others. Print & Publishing sheds a spotlight on the company’s key products.

Touchline machines from Multigraf in the product portfolio of Gayathri Machinery consist of some key creasing, creasing folding and creasing perforation systems. All new Multigraf CPCxPro is what the company has set to launch at PAMEX 2024 (February 6-9, BEC, Goregaon (E), Mumbai). This next-generation Swiss creasing, perforating, and cutting machine is designed to meet the needs of the print finishing industry. Multigraf CPCxPro is incredibly versatile to handle a broad range of paper stocks (80–400 gsm) and sizes (375×1040 mm).

Bunch of advanced features

“Salient features of Multigraf CPCxPro such as intuitive and broad touch screen interface make the machine easy to operate and set up,” mentions Uday Grover of Gayathri Machinery. He adds that other added features of the machine include a job memory function that allows operators to store and recall frequently used settings, reducing setup time thereby increasing efficiency.

Multigraf CPCxPro is precisely designed to perform ‘up & down’ creasing, perforation – both cross-ways and lengthways, cutting and slitting and folding (also 2-ups or 3-ups). All these applications can be done in one pass and that too at high speeds. The machine can produce 24,000 business cards per hour, in which each card is finished up with front and trailing edge trim and gutter.

Both digital & offset compatible

Built to last, Multigraf CPCxPro is designed to withstand the rigors of high-volume print finishing operations, providing consistent and accurate results over time. It makes the machine suitable for a wide range of applications, from business cards and brochures to invitations and catalogues. After all, Multigraf CPCxPro is for both digital and offset printers.

Acclaimed to be a precision and versatile machine, Multigraf CPC XPro represents a quantum leap in the realm of automated document processing, high-volume and high-precision finishing operations.
